Halloween is not until October but that doesn't mean we can't learn about the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead in summer. Join us for a week of learning about Mexican culture, costumes and traditions. Sugar skulls were created to honor the return of a particular spirit. Sugar skull art reflects the folk art style of big happy smiles, colorful designs and sparkly tin and glittery adornments.
