We now accept registrations for the September-December semester 2023, all kids 16 and under are welcome to join us. Sign up for the whole semester or try a drop in class.
About the program:
The idea of this program is to offer home schooled children a half-day experience that incorporates creative projects, social connections, play-based experiences and movement. Children have time and space to explore interpersonal relationships, as well as connect to themselves through quiet, creative spaces. We work on numerous projects as a group, individual projects and expressive art activities. In addition, we work to support children with diverse capabilities and needs, honoring each child as a unique individual through their growth and learning at the studio.
What we do:
Our art projects will be structured and planned for each student. We will introduce children to different mediums such as: acrylic painting, watercolor techniques, ink graphic projects, collages, basics of still life, pastels, color pencils, clay work and sculpture. The expressive arts includes theater, puppetry, movement and dramatic play and long-term projects create engaging goals for the group.
