Drawing Realistic Animals

Description: Our winter-spring Drawing/Painting Animals Course will focus on how to draw birds, specifically ducks, swans and geese for the Duck Stamp Competition 2018. Marina Boiko, three times Colorado State winner will be leading the class and sharing all her tips and tricks about how to create a winning piece! By the end of the course students will be able to draw any animal they want and participate in the National Contest.*
* We will highly encourage all students to participate, but it is optional.
- Understanding Animal Anatomy: What to Look For
- Understanding Animal Textures: Adding Fur & Feathers
- Working on Details: Drawing Eyes, Ears, & Noses, Beaks, Feat
- Learning about habitats and how to paint skies, ponds, grasses, mountains and much more
